Shall Be Done Notary & Remote Online Notarization (RON) Services

1. Scope of Services
Shall Be Done Notary (“the Notary”) provides the following services:

Traditional in‑person notarization
-
Remote Online Notarization (RON) in accordance with Florida Statutes Chapter 117
-
Document witnessing (when permitted)
-
Identity verification and credential analysis
-
General notarial acts as allowed by Florida law
The Notary does not provide legal advice, document preparation, or interpretation of legal documents.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Present a valid, unexpired government‑issued photo ID
-
Ensure all documents are complete before the notarization session
-
Confirm they understand the document they are signing
-
Ensure all signers are present, willing, and mentally competent
-
Provide accurate contact information for communication and document delivery
For RON sessions, clients must:

Have a stable internet connection
-
Use a device with audio and video capability
-
Complete identity verification and credential analysis
-
Be physically located within the United States at the time of signing
3. Fees & Payment

Fees are based on Florida’s statutory notarial fee schedule plus service, travel, platform, and convenience fees where applicable.

Payment is due before or at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
RON platform fees are non‑refundable once a session link has been issued.
-
Additional fees may apply for after‑hours appointments, printing, scanning, or document handling.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
-
No‑shows or failure to meet ID/technology requirements for RON sessions may result in forfeiture of fees.

The Notary reserves the right to reschedule or refuse service if legal requirements cannot be met.
5. Right to Refuse Service
The Notary may decline or discontinue service if:

A signer appears coerced, impaired, or unwilling
-
Identification cannot be verified
-
The document is incomplete or contains blank spaces
-
The request violates Florida law or ethical standards
6. Recording & Data Handling (RON Only)
-
All RON sessions are audio‑video recorded as required by Florida law.

Recordings and related data are securely stored by the approved RON platform.
-
The Notary does not sell or share client information.
-
Clients acknowledge and consent to the recording as a condition of receiving RON services.
7. Document Delivery

Completed notarized documents may be delivered via email, secure portal, or in person.

The Notary is not responsible for delays caused by third‑party platforms, email providers, or mail carriers.
8. No Legal Advice
The Notary is not an attorney and cannot:

Provide legal advice
-
Interpret documents
-
Advise on document validity or enforceability
Clients are encouraged to consult an attorney for legal questions.
9. Liability Limitation
The Notary’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific notarial act.
The Notary is not responsible for:

Document content
-
Legal consequences of the notarized document
-
Errors caused by client-provided information
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or participating in a notarization or RON session, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
