Refund Policy

1. General Policy

All notarization fees are non‑refundable once the notarial act has been completed.
Notaries are paid for their time, expertise, and compliance—not the outcome or acceptance of the document by a third party.

2. Remote Online Notarization (RON)

Refunds cannot be issued once:

A RON session link has been generated
Identity verification has begun
The audio‑video session has started

Platform fees, identity verification fees, and credential analysis fees are non‑refundable under all circumstances.

3. Mobile / In‑Person Appointments

Refunds are not provided for:

Travel fees
Waiting time
No‑shows
Incorrect or incomplete documents
Failure to provide valid ID
Signers who are unwilling, impaired, or unable to proceed

If the Notary arrives and the appointment cannot be completed due to client error, the full travel fee and a service fee still apply.

4. Cancellations

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the appointment may be eligible for a partial refund of service fees (excluding travel or platform fees).
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are not eligible for a refund.
Same‑day bookings are non‑refundable.

5. Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule one time at no additional charge if requested at least 12 hours before the appointment.
Additional reschedules may incur a fee.

6. Errors or Issues

If an error is made by the Notary, the Notary will correct the error at no additional charge.
Refunds are not issued for:

Document rejection due to content, formatting, or legal issues unrelated to the notarial act
Client misunderstanding of document purpose
Third‑party refusal to accept a notarized document

7. Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for delays or cancellations caused by events outside the Notary’s control, including but not limited to:

Weather
Power outages
Platform outages
Emergencies
Internet or technology failures on the client’s side

8. Acceptance of Policy

By booking or participating in any notarial service, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.
