Duties/Responsibility​

Between All Parties

(Signing Agent, Signer/Borrower/Client, and Title/Closing Company)

​

SIGNING AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Printing Loan Documents, if needed.

• Set Appointment Date and Time with the Signer.

• Overseeing the signing, keeping all documents in order.

• Notarize the appropriate Documents.

• Verify all required documents are signed, initialed, dated, and notarized.

• Return Signed/Notarized Documents to Title/Closing Company in a timely manner.

• Importantly, Collaborate with Title/Closing Company.

 

SIGNER/BORROWER/CLIENT RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

• Valid State Identification with Picture.

• Photocopy of Identification, if needed.

• Black/Blue Pen (recommendation from Title/Closing Company).

• Clean, Safe, Quiet Signing Location.

• No food, no drinks in signing area.

• Witnesses, if needed.

• Making they are available for signing with Signing Agent.

 

TITLE/CLOSING COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Servicing Contract/Agreement between the Signing Agent and Title/Closing Company.

• Provide the Signing Agent, with the Signer/Borrower/Client contact information (Name, Phone Number, Address).

• Collaborate with the Signer/Borrower/Client of all documents they will be signing with Signing Agent, to prevent delays during signing at the signing appointment.

• Forwarding Documents to Signing Agent or Signer/Borrower/Client via Email or by Express Mail (FEDEX/UPS).

• Express Mailing Fee/label, with FEDEX/UPS.

• Provide after-hours contact number to Signing Agent, in case of an emergency.

• Payment to Signing Agent via Check, Money Order, Venmo, CashApp, Square.
